Incredibly busy real estate sales this summer on Pine Island!

I can hardly believe I haven't posted to my Pine Island blog in nearly six weeks, but vow to make weekly posts and updates from now on.  I have sold three homes, a tropical fruit nursery and a lot, plus showing lots of real estate all around the island:  Pineland, Bokeelia, Saint James City and Matlacha.

So now it's already October and I'm looking forward to cooler fall weather and maybe fishing under a full moon at the Bokeelia fishing pier on October 9 (on Thursday, the pier is open for night fishing).



During the first nine months of 2014, the number of real estate sales is up 8% compared to last year, and the dollar volume of real estate sales is up 20% compared to the same period in 2013.
During the first nine months of 2014, there have been 365 closed real estate sales, for a total of $63,756,566. in real estate sales.

This is what is selling in the Pine Island communities of Saint James City, Bokeelia and Matlacha:

Saint James City:  47 Water front homes sold at a median price of $291,000, 23 off water homes sold at a median price of $158,250.  2 condominiums sold at an average price of $167,500.  66 Manufactured homes sold at a median price of $113,500.

Bokeelia:  22 Water front homes sold at a median price of $317,450; 39 off water homes sold at a median price of $158,500.  20 Condominiums sold at a median price of $188,600.

Island wide, 3 duplexes sold at an average price of $138,334; 40 Water front lots sold at a median price of $118,250; and 49 off water lots sold at a median price of $17,000.
