Hello readers, the heat has brought on beautiful views of clouds building over Pine Island Sound.
At the same time, at dawn the winds are usually very calm, so the water is like glass reflecting the sky.
With the water so smooth, it is a great time of day to go fishing and kayaking.
Next week, I'll publish the totals for real estate sales in the Pine Island communities of Bokeelia, Saint James City, and Matlacha through the first seven months of the year.
