November has brought incredibly beautiful weather to Pine Island, low humidity, sunny skies and calm seas! On my bike ride yesterday, I saw the first white pelicans of the season back in Jug Creek. White Pelicans winter here, usually from November through March, and here they were, right on time, November 1! Also, after nearly a week of windy weather, the waters of Charlotte Harbor were smooth as silk...I also saw dolphins our in Charlotte Harbor, but they are difficult to get a photo of.
