Yesterday was a really beautiful fall day in Bokeelia. I started out on an early bike ride to Bokeelia, and saw a bald eagle and steam rising off a pond. Then I watched my friends Bill and Joyce put in there new, hand-made sailboat into Jug Creek...it is a really beautiful boat, the weather was crystal clear with a light breeze.
Then, I went down to Matlacha Park to check out the Caloosa Blueway Paddling Festival, the sights and sounds were great, including a bluegrass band, a cook out, and lots of kayaks on display.
