Pine Island's main agricultural export crop is ornamental trees, mainly palm trees. But there are lots of other agricultural activities on Pine Island, including raising tropical fruits (mango, lychee and papaya are the most common); raising beef cattle; keeping bees for honey; and growing vegetables...tomatoes, lettuce and peppers are crops that are in season now.
