Wow, we had a great day fishing on my husband Marty's B-day yesterday. Joined by our Irish friends Anton and Cathy, Sinead and Daraugh, everyone caught lots of grouper in Boca Grande Pass. The weather was a beautiful 82 degrees with a light wind. We also saw dolphins and sea turtles. We started out from 4 Winds Marina in Bokeelia, being bolstered by lunches of fish sandwiches and fries at the Lazy Flamingo , fished til just before sunset. You just can't beat Pine Island for enjoying life on the water!

Hi Erika!
I got back to work today and was straight onto the net to check your blog. The pictures look great - hopefully I've done my bit to help Pine Island tourism and therefore real estate prices by showing that even a pen-pushing Paddy ("have you any hand-wipes, Marty") like myself can land a grouper in the bay!
