Hello from Bokeelia. We had a light shower last night and I spent some time this morning taking pictures of some of the beautiful plants growing around my place, everything is starting to bloom:
frangi-pangi, my raspberry and mulberry bush, hong kong orchid, gardenia, wild iris and black eyed-susan. Mini-mangos are on the tree.
Today, we'll be having a nice shrimp salad for Easter lunch, made with fresh caught shrimp, bought yesterday in Matlacha, from Pine Island Sound. They were nice big ones:
It is comforting to contemplate Easter's promise of renewal and resurrection. We are mourning the recent death of our dear dog Daisy, who after a long happy life, passed away. We loved her very much.
