It's been a chilly and windy day here on Pine Island, though the sun is bright and sky is blue. I took some time sitting by a sunny window, painting a picture of the roseate spoonbill shown in my previous post, roseate spoonbill standing in an oyster bed.
One of my daughter's gave me a paint set for Christmas and I had fun breaking it open.
Even for complete amateurs like me, its easy to get inspired by the beautiful nature around us, here on Pine Island.
Next weekend, don't miss the Pine Island Gardener's Club Garden Gala, at Phillips Park near the 4-way stop, Saturday February 23, 9 a.m. - 2 pm.
