Fall is a popular fishing time on Pine Island, the water and air are cooling off a little, and schools of Redfish, Grouper, Snook and SeaTrout are common in our local waters of Pine Island Sound, Charlotte Harbor, San Carlos Bay and Matlacha Pass.
I took some photos of these fisherman in Charlotte Harbor this morning. A good way to get to know the waterways around here is to get a waterproof fishing chart from www.waterproofcharts.com, the Chart Covering Pine Island Sound and Matlacha is Chart #25F and 25E.
