Recent Real Estate Sales on Pine Island, Florida

As I do at the beginning of most months, I'm posting the most recent update of real estate sales here on Pine Island, Florida.

 

Since the beginning of 2012, the following properties have sold in the Pine Island communities of Matlacha, Bokeelia, Pine Island Center, or Saint James City.

 

65 Water Front Homes have sold at a median sale price of $275,000.

61 Off-water Homes have sold at a median price of $118,000.

11 Condominiums have sold at a median price of $189,900.

51 Manufactures Homes have sold at median price of $113,500.

4 Duplexes have sold at a median price of $98,000.

12 water front homesites have sold at a median price of $110,000.

46 Off-water lots have sold at a median price of $10,250.

 

A total of 256 real estate transactions have closed on Pine Island so far this year, with a dollar volume of $41,218,777.  This represents a 7.5% increase in number of sales over 2011 and an 11% increase in dollar volume of sales.

 

Same as last year, about 11% of all sales were foreclosures, and 10% were short sales.
