Eagles Back on Pine Island

   I've been seeing a few pairs of bald eagles this month, which I hope portends an early fall here on Pine Island.  Usually, we don't see the eagles coming back and nesting til October.  The air is feeling a little cooler and less humid too.

One of the many great things about Pine Island is the incredible variety of wild life, especially birds.  We have lots of birds of prey, plus shore birds, and many birds of the field and meadows.
