April in Bokeelia was another busy month for me and for real estate sales on all of Pine Island, including Saint James City, Bokeelia and Matlacha. Thirty properties sold, 25 of them residential. The total dollar volume of sales in April was $4,819,200. At this pace, sales should exceed $60,000,000. in sales on Pine Island this year.Nine water front homes sold on Pine Island in April, the median selling price was $280,000. Four off-water homes sold on Pine Island, the median selling price was $124,000. Twelve manufactured homes sold, median price $92,950. One condominium sold for $222,000. One water front lot sold for $140,000. and several larger agricultural parcels sold, average selling price was $14,339. per acre.
We had some much needed rain in April and here are some photo's of scenes around Pine Island, including a baby calf grazing in Bokeelia, a turtle enjoying the rain, frangi pangi's drinking in the rain, and an osprey ruffling this feathers. Pine Island is truly a slice of paradise.
