Hello readers. Today Noaa updated its website to show a map projecting the trajectory of the Deep Water Horizon oil spill. You can view this update at
http://www.noaa.gov/. There is also a paper regarding projected effects on South Florida. According to the trajectory map, the coast of Southwest Florida, including Pine Island, has a 1% or less chance of having oil wash ashore on our coasts. You can see this image above, the gray area represents places with a 1% less or chance of oil on the coast, including Southwest, Florida. I urge you to go view the entire noaa site.
