Hello Pine Island Readers, I have not been hibernating during the recent, unprecedented cold snap in Florida. Instead, I have been busy showing real estate, writing a few real estate contracts, and catching up on paperwork.
Now back in the 70's, I went out for a bike ride on our wonderful Pine Island bike path (17 miles long!) yesterday and noticed that these beautiful orchids did not succumb to the cold.
In the first weeks of the new decade, real estate sales are looking up. Eight homes have sold and one lot has sold. Also 22 properties have gone under contract during the first two weeks of 2010. For the first time in a long time, we have an inventory of one year or less of properties on the market.
