I can hardly believe it is the last day of January, the month has flown by on Pine Island! I've been busy selling real estate and enjoying some great horse back rides. Lots of fun Pine Island events are coming up in February, when the weather is usually great. My favorite event is the annual Pine Island Art Association show and sale, this year scheduled for February 14 and 15. You can enjoy a really nice variety of art work by local artists. . .I always buy a painting each year.

February 7 - The Chamber of Commerce is sponsering a business expo at the Lutheran Church, where local businesses will display their products and services. 11 AM - 2 PM
February 11 - Valentine Card Party at St. James Community Center. 10 AM - 2:30 PM
February 13 and 14 - Creative Coast Weekend, Various Island Arts Galleries welcome the public
February 21 - Pine Island Garden Gala at Phillips Park, there will be plant sales, crafts, food and more. 8 AM - 2 PM
February 21 - Calusa Heritage Days at Randell Research, an annual festival celebrating the presence of the Calusa Indian Tribe on Pine Island
