Friday December 12 a huge and silvery moon rose over Pine Island. The full moon (known as the cold moon according to the Farmer's Almanac) was closer to the earth than anytime in the past 15 years and it seemed so. It also seemed to have a slight ring around it. Two other highlights of my week: For the 4th time in 5 years, I was selected by Gulfshore Life Magazine as one of the best realtors in client satisfaction for the Pine Island area. Another highlight: I was one of twenty who get to paint a new picture on a Pine Island telephone pole! My design is of a coyote (which I have occasionally seen and heard here) barking at the full moon. It should be done this month.
