One of the great things about Pine Island is the abundant wildlife, especially birds, that you can enjoy seeing in almost any Pine Island neighborhood. Today on a morning bike ride, I saw, among other things, a group of wood storks, an American kestrel, and a corn snake. I take along my copy of "National Audubon Field Guide to Florida" to help me identify the various species. Real estate sales are somewhat slow, as evidenced by the 5 sales during the first half of November, shown on the left.
