Four Winds Marina is located at 16501 Stringfellow Road, Bokeelia, about 1/4 mile from the tip of the island. Four Winds has a large boat barn and wet slips available for rent, and also rents six different styles and sizes of boat, ranges from 21 to 24 feet, that will accommodate 4 to 6 people.
Rates range from $235 per half day to $350. for full day.
Fours Winds also offers gasoline and has a nice ships store with sundries like hats, t shirts, charts, sunscreen, snacks etc. They are open daily from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. There is no boat ramp, though.
Besides being a nice full service marina, Four Winds is home to the Bokeelia Lazy Flamingo Restaurant. Lazy Flamingo is one of my favorite Pine Island restaurants. Casual but delicious with beautiful water views, some of the specialties include peel and eat shrimp, fresh local fish sandwiches and platters; burgers and vegie burgers, and various salads and side dishes. Very good smoked fish, too! Not to mention ice cold beers and ice-t to cool off after a hot day on the water. They'll clean and cook the fish you catch!
