Summer is usually a pretty quiet time here on Pine Island, so I took some time off with my daughter Greta to practice swimming for Special Olympics and take a road trip to the National Down Syndrome Congress Convention in Washington, DC. On the way, I stopped visiting relatives in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, and friends in Damascus Virginia. Here are a few photo's from those locales:
I was a fun trip but I'm glad to be back on Pine Island (no traffic and cooler than many places north of us!) Next, I'll update you with the latest real estate sales in the Pine Island communities of Bokeelia, Saint James City, and Matlacha.
