Hello readers, the weather has cooled off (to below 90's during the day, in the 60's at night) this month. It is great to turn off the air conditioning!
The manatees must be noticing the change in water temperatures, because I saw a whole pod of them in a canal near in Bayview Estates in St. James City, yesterday...canal temperatures are usually a little warmer than the off-shore waters, so manatees move in when the weather starts cooling off! Here are some photos of manatees I took on Pine Island yesterday.
