Horses on Pine Island, Florida

One of the unique things about Pine Island is finding an island that is so relatively undeveloped and rural! About 1/2 of Pine Island land is zoned agricultural and you can keep horses. I have two American Paint Horse mares and a burro named Sparky.

There are 50 parcels of land zoned agricultural for sale, ranging from 1.3 to 120 acres, priced from $115,000. to $1,500,000. The median price is $53,931. per acre.

There are 20 home for sale on agricultural land priced from $249,000. - $2,500,000. for a fabulous waterfront estate. The median price is $468,000. Several dozen horse owners keep horses on their properties on Pine Island. For a boarding stable, you would need atleast 5 acres.
