Easter on Pine Island

Easter morning was clear and warm with a light breeze from the east on Pine Island.  I biked around Pineland then headed up to Bokeelia.   Passing "Soaring Eagle Nursery", a large wild hog trotted across the palm groves.  Then, I saw this Osprey taking a bath near the Bokeelia pier.  Bokeelia residents had painted colorful coconuts and tied them on fishing line to a gnarly buttonwood tree.  They were spinning in the wind.

Just a little slice of Pine Island life.
