Pine Island Peacocks

Lately, I've been seeing and hearing a lot of wild peacocks around Pine Island.  I saw this large showy male peacock on my morning bike ride through Bokeelia.  His tail alone was about five feet long and he performed a twisty type of dance, marching by me.

Bokeelia is such a great place to watch wildlife,
I also saw a young coyote up in Bokeelia, and a few
wild pigs in little Pine Island, near Matlacha.
