This weekend, March 7, will be the annual "Rubber Duck" races at Woody's Restaurant in St. James City, noon - 5 pm. Proceeds benefit the Calusa Land Trust, our local land preservation group. March 14, enjoy the annual "Mullet Toss" at Old Fish House Marina in Matlacha, featuring food, entertainment and more. March 21, the Matlacha Hookers host a rummage sale at the Bank of America to benefit their scholarship fund. Also on March 21, the Kiwanis host Kiwanis Day at the Waterfront Restaurant in St. James City, featuring shrimp specials and served by Kiwanis, to benefit Kiwanis scholarship fund.
