Dear Readers, I haven't written here in a while, because I have been busy and also took some time off to enjoy a visit with my friend Mary from Pittsburgh, and her sons Doug and Jeff. Doug was celebrating his 24th birthday and we took a nice day trip on the tropic star out to Cayo Costa Island on Saturday Oct 18. Here's a few photos of that day trip. One of the great things about Pine Island is you are just 5 miles as the crow flies to one of the most beautiful, white sand, uninhabited beaches in the whole US (or the whole world, for all I know!)
