Another busy two weeks on Pine Island included: riding my bike, riding my horses, writing my paper newsletter Pine Island Times, picking up friends at the airport, showing real estate and two real estate closings...SO I have not posted to my on-line blog about Pine Island in almost two weeks. Here's an update:
There were more than 40 closed real estate sales on Pine Island in April 2008. In April, the median Bokeelia waterfront home sold for $290,000; the median inland home sold for $229,000., the median lot sold for $50,000, the median condo sold for $266,000.
In St. James City, the median waterfront home sold for $265,000., the median lot sold for $143,000., the median in land home sold for $168,750., and one condo sold for $217,500.
In Matlacha, 2 water front homes sold for $447,250. Island wide, 3 Water Front Manufactured Homes sold for a median of $225,000., and 6 inland manufactured homes sold for $95,000.
This is a picture of a three bedroom, two bath home on 5 acres that just closed for $400,000.
