First Day of Winter on Pine Island

The first day of winter has arrived on Pine Island, clear and breezy. The winter tides here are typically very low, here is a photo of gulls and other birds feeding on the oyster beds. Also a fishing dock on Charlotte Harbor and a local fruit stand, where Florida oranges, strawberries, melons and tomatoes are sold on Stringfellow and Harbor Rd in Bokeelia. Happy Solstice!
